Lily walked down the hall towards the library, pushing a stray lock of hair out of her face. She was trying to find books for her Muggle Studies project, and had no clue where to start. I can't believe it's only day two and we already have this much homework she sighed and hurried on. What she wanted to do was find muggle books, like muggle playwrights, and do a project on them, but didn't know if that would be allowed--or even if she could get her hands on them at Hogwarts.
She walked into the library and heading towards the back, then stopped and smirked when she saw a familiar head at a table. She weaved through and snuck behind him, putting her hand on his shoulder.
"Homework already, Siri?" she asked, smirking down at her twin.
Lily blinked and smiled innocently. "Of course not, Siri. I can't even believe you would say such a thing!" She smirked at him. "So, when's your first change due to happen, Mr. I Want To Be A Rebel All The Time?"
Lily knew Siri wouldn't do anything stupid, but she was kind of worried about him...
"DUH!" Lily replied, grinning at him. "Why wouldn't I want to come? It'll be so cool!! Hey," she said, thinking of something. "Can I bring James? You know, with his wolfy senses, he could be fun to have around for the change!"
"Well of course you can bring James. It'd almost be like sacrilege if he isn't there. And besides, I know you'd just love to snog him behind some tree in the moonlight. How romantic." Sirius smirked, putting a breathy quality to his voice on the end of his sentence.
Lily blushed. "Bugger off, Siri," she said, glancing around to make sure no one was there--there wasn't, of course, but still. "That is NOT why I want to bring him along, and you know it. He would want to see the change, with his wolfishness and all."
But, yes, she admitted, snogging James would be a bit of a plus.
He grinned, giving her a knowing look. "Hmmm...I'm not sure if I believe you, sister dear. But I'll let you off the hook for now." He replied, looking around as well. His mind was wandering back to the thought of those pretty girls...
Neville wandered in to the Library, a bored look on his face. He caught sight of his siblings and groaned a little. He really was hoping to get started on his Potions homewrok, but with them here...
He shrugged, and made his way to the table they were at. It was always a fun time with them, at least.
"Siri, Lily. Already procrastinating on your homework?"
"See now Lily, here's a sibling who knows me. You don't do homework on the second day of school." Sirius snorted and rolled his eyes a little, turning to his brother, his smirk turning into more of a grin.
"What's up with you little man?
Neville let out a quiet curse in parsel tongue. He hated that nickname.
"Well as can be expected, I suppose. And actually, I WAS coming in here to work on potions, but saw you two and decided I wouldn't get any work done anyway. What are you two up to, anyway? Getting ready to get in trouble again, I'd wager."
There was a lightheartedness to his voice that was only there when he talked to his siblings.
Neville caught the glance his brother gave his sister, and knew they were up to something.
"Oh, there's LOTS to do on a day like this, and you know most of them. Last year, in fact, wasn't it you who set off the dungbomb in Myrtle's bathroom?"
Neville was watching carefully, trying to pick up a hint of what his siblings were really up to.
"And lets not forget how humble you are. That's always a plus."
Neville was smiling, indicating that he was mostly kidding.
"So, another wonderful prank in the works? Or is it something more serious? I KNOW you two are up to SOMETHING.""
